ET The Extra-Terrestrial by Steiff - 33cm

Steiff

Catalogue number: 355899

He is afraid. He is totally alone. He is 3 million light years from home.

After a gentle alien becomes stranded on Earth, he is discovered and befriended by a 10-year-old boy named Elliott. Bringing him into his suburban California house, Elliott introduces E.T., as he is dubbed, to his brother, Michael, and sister, Gertie, and they decide to keep his existence a secret. Soon, however, he falls ill, resulting in government intervention and a dire situation for both him and Elliott.

When the film was released in 1982, audiences were captivated by the adorable alien and his friendship with Elliott. The film marks its 40th Anniversary in 2022. Steiff’s phenomenal interpretation of this iconic character is made from incredibly detailed, sculpted and airbrushed plush fabric. He wears a removeable red hooded jacket, as seen in the film and he has piercing blue eyes to really bring this character to life.

He features a gold plated 'Button in Ear' and is limited to only 1982 pieces. He comes with his numbered certificate in a special edition Steiff gift box featuring images from the Universal Pictures film with its original protective cardboard outer sleeve.
